This is how [Los Angeles, 27] uses CBD to ease her mind after a long day of work

“I moved out to LA to work in entertainment and started in the mailroom at one of the largest talent agencies in the world. After a few years, I worked my way up to become an agent and discovered that I was passionate about the intersection of tech and entertainment. Now I work for a tech company where I’ve built a community to support a group of emerging entrepreneurs.



I have definitely tried to carve out more time to take care of myself. I think it’s much more important now. For me, taking care of myself includes sleep – getting enough hours in the evening. Going to the gym – at least three times a week. Trying to eat fairly healthy while still being a foodie so certainly splurging on the weekend but trying to stick to my more healthy diet during the week. Typically I think I use stress as a motivating factor to accomplish more in my daily life but when I’m most stressed I go to the gym to help me relax. When I first heard about CBD I was very curious to learn more – you could say intrigued.


What I used CBD for

To reduce anxiety and achieve a more mellow state – a combination of professional stress and dating life stress.


The Product

I used Bloom Farms Tincture, at first I was a little nervous about how to find the right dosage. Once I got used to the dropper, I was fine. I felt comfortable using the tincture. It felt safe and easy.


The Results

Day 1: I started on a Friday evening with a smaller dose of 2.25 mg. I got home after work, had dinner, tried it and sat on the couch watching TV. At first, I was a little unsure if I felt anything or if I was making myself feel it. I was anticipating what the reaction would be. I did feel slightly less distracted by what had occurred during the day.

Day 2: I tried the tincture again at the same dose and felt a bit lighter. I decided to step it up because I didn’t think I was achieving the full desired effect.

Day 3: I chose another day in the week and doubled the dose after work. I was really stressed and had a lot on my mind and after I took it, I definitely felt the effect. I felt much more focused and that I could really leave work behind.

I would probably use CBD more at high peak stress times, which could be a couple of times a week or could skip a week. I’d like to experiment with it a little bit more. I had predominantly used the product to help me sleep. I associate that more relaxed and clear-headedness with going to bed. I have struggled being too distracted in the evening prevented me from being more effective with my time. I’m curious to know how it could impact productivity during the workday.
